		<description>The Goosebumps Series by R L Stine. Yes I know, its horror, but as a kid thats what I enjoyed (at age 10 up). Anything that was fantasy to provide an escape from a world that can sometimes be prosaic.

I was always reading Enid Blyton Short Stories at a younger age too.
